It's not just me, is it. @Uber has absolutely enshittified. Tis the way of things I suppose 😀
English

@JEChalmers All you've proven is the absolute need for recall legislation. This Govt and the RBA board should be sacked. Interest rates are no longer an appropriate or workable tool. Resign now.

Today the independent Reserve Bank Monetary Policy Board increased the cash rate by 25 basis points.
This will be difficult news for millions of Australians with a mortgage and we understand the pressure that this will put on families and businesses.
While today’s decision was widely expected, that doesn’t make it any easier.
We know many Australians are doing it tough which is why we continue to roll out responsible cost of living relief, including a further tax cut later this year and another one next year.
At the same time we’re doing what we can to strengthen the budget and address our longstanding productivity challenge.

Hey, @JacintaAllanMP ! As a 7 day a week PT user, I have seen increased patronage on the weekends and its all groups of friends and families heading out to do things. Mebbe consider keeping the free weekend PT forever? Seems to be a public good.
English

@JasonClareMP How do you honestly think this is a win after the bipartisan crippling of people with outrageous debt for decades,, for something, given the societal good, should have a token cost at best. I simply cannot understand how u think you have anything to be proud of.
English

It’s happening!!
Today 100,000 young Australians will have their student debt cut by 20 percent.
This week one and a half million more Australians will have their student debt cut.
The week after that another one and a half million Australians will have their student debt cut.
We promised it. Australia voted for it. And we are delivering it.

@Uber_Australia I mean there is enshitification and then there is enshitification. 6, count them, 6 drivers accepted and then cancelled my trip including one who claimed the app was "playing up" and wanted to know where i was headed. Bad taxi level service is back! Sheesh!
English

@KosSamaras Fair. But I cant help but feel this will be a slow burn if the LNP can tie it to cost of living. The Albanese Govt continues to do nothing about cost of living and immigration continues to become more and more unpopular due to mismanagement, I get u but.. ....

Dump Net Zero. End up with zero seats in the capital cities.
Our latest poll for the Financial Review has Labor’s primary vote rising higher than May 3rd, while the Coalition has slumped to 24%. The Liberal Party itself is down at 20% and even that’s being propped up by the Queensland LNP.
In other words: once you strip out Queensland, it’s the killing fields. For the first time since Federation, a major conservative party is staring down the prospect of being almost completely wiped out from big-city Australia.
One Nation is up to 18%, also pressuring the Liberal Party in its own regional seats. In other words, the Liberal Right wing MPs causing all this damage to their party, may indeed get knocked off by One Nation.

@TimRichardsonMP That's quite traitorous after the results, the clear result, of the recent referendum. I voted yes and still think u are very wrong here

What a moment! Treaty signing with Victoria’s First People’s this morning.
🖤💛❤️
What a moment for all Victorians, recognising the oldest continuous culture in the world.
The first negotiated Statewide Treaty Agreement brings together First Peoples, through the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria, alongside the Victorian Government, to build a new relationship based on respect, trust and integrity.
It acknowledges our past and is a chance for all Victorians to move forward together. ❤️

@farrm51 Oh, come.on. pollies do this all the time. Hanson is mad but quit with the double standards
English

You can’t comment on Australian politics when you have abandoned your Senate duty for a Florida resort.
Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺@PaulineHansonOz
Labor’s obsession with net zero is sending Australia broke. Power bills are skyrocketing, manufacturing is disappearing, and Aussie families are being punished. It doesn’t have to be this way. It is time to scrap net zero. One Nation will bring back cheap energy, secure jobs by putting Australians first, not climate fantasies. We’ll bring back common sense, protect our industries, and get your power bills down. Let’s build a future that works for everyday Australians.

@CampbellNewman I have rarely heard a more completely wrong misread

@KISSopolis Im gonna suggest Unmasked. He kinda owned that one

@BradBattinMP Protest (and free speech) is a inalienable huma right. But, the hard left have continually shown, anyone who doesn't agree with them is the enemy. Additionally VicPol is a criminal organisation deserving of zero respect. And thus the weekend.
English

Victorians are right to be angry about today’s protests in Melbourne. Our police are being attacked, injured, and abused for simply doing their job protecting Victorians.
This was a disgraceful attack on our police officers. Being pelted with rocks and bottles isn’t free speech, it’s criminal violence.
Victoria Police have had enough and so have all Victorians. Police are on the frontline every week, facing growing aggression while the government looks the other way.
The Premier promised tougher protest laws, but Jacinta Allan’s failure to act is fuelling division and hate. It’s time she stood up for law and order and backed the police who keep us safe.
A Liberals and Nationals Government will restore police funding and bring back move-on powers. We'll introduce a protest registration system to ensure protests don't get out of control.
English

@TerpsMLC It's over budget and a year late. Why lie? It's a good thing spoiled by lies
English

But now it’s here. Ready for you to jump on board Melbourne’s newest investment in public transport, delivered a year ahead of schedule and on budget.
What a fabulous Christmas present! 🎁

@BradBattinMP That's some sweet sweet fascism you are pushing there...
English

Jacinta Allan has no answers for rising crime - despite Labor running Victoria for over a decade.
It’s time for a fresh start. The Libs & Nats will bring in:
🔹 Break Bail, Face Jail – real consequences for serious and repeat offenders
🔹 Jack’s Law – wanding powers for police & PSOs in public places
🔹 Restart – live-in programs for serious and repeat offenders
🔹 Youthstart – investment in proven diversion & mentoring for youth
🔹 Protest registration & face coverings ban
🔹 Reinstate move-on powers
🔹 Right to Ask, Right to Know – protect women & kids
Victoria deserves safety. We’ll deliver it.
English

@JacintaAllanMP Honestly, you cannot think this would have gone down well at this time. Either you have terrible advisors or your click baiting.
English

Today in Beijing, I met Minister of Education His Excellency Huai Jinpeng to discuss the cooperation between China and Victoria’s education systems and to oversee the signing of the historic Education Working Group.
I shared my three priorities for my visit to China – education, education and education – and I was proud to inform him that Mandarin is the number one language taught in Victorian Government schools.
The Minister shared his deep commitment to education and said that learning a language helps a child know more about the culture and history of another country.
Just as our schools are exchanging students and teachers between Victoria and China, the Minister and I agreed to continue the exchange between our states through the Education Working Group, which will set a course for the years ahead.

@SamsungAU This is a known and wide spread fault across devices since the one UI7l 7 update. I suggest you might need to lodge an error report
English

@TheStrollingMan We would suggest raising an error report through our Samsung Members application.
Lodging this report, allows for our Samsung Members team to have a closer look at the issue through the diagnostic data sent from your phone.
