The reason the death scenes are censored like this is because game journalists saw the gruesome death scenes in the first Tomb Raider remake and said, "Yeah these are inherently sexualized deaths." Every streamer I ever had a negative interaction with in the horror space was a DBD streamer. I'm talking like straight up some of the most nasty, mean, and chronically angry people on the web. I will never get the appeal of this game, it seems to have actively spawned hate.

Pixiv is pretty infamous for 1. Allowing AI art, including CSAM inspired AI art. 2. Being the site all those gore gifs from early image boards originated from (Fukouna Shoujo 0x) It's interesting seeing them constantly be the source of weird shit involving teen characters.
