I defended this trade, because I assumed that the team is going to use the money saved to actually improve. They didn't. They basically made this move for no reason. Lost a clubhouse leader, and a bat who can play 6-7 positions. He won't hit like this all year, but i woukd rather him play than Nick Allen.
