Swans look like they have 5 extra players on the field. All running and chasing and all seem to find an open teammate. We are under constant pressure every time we touch the ball. Looks like we are out of our feet already and it’s not even close to halftime. Eek 😬

Boo hoo. Players are told specifically what they can and can’t do with set shots post siren by the umps - especially when they “arc” on a shot. Ump had a clear view, Watson went off the line and didn’t kick over the mark. Play on - no goal.

Pendlebury’s Collingwood teammates didn’t know about this initiative until only moments before the bounce. They were told only after the warm up as a surprise. Organised in recent days and ticked off by the League.

@BigMal84 @CalTwomey I was cool with Pendlebury having the gold number to celebrate his achievement. Just thought all players having that was a disrespectful and lessened SP’s individual achievement…bit like all of the wedding guests dressing as brides. But I’m not losing sleep over it. 👍🏻

I can understand why Pendlebury is wearing a gold number 10 in his games record breaking game. But why the rest of the team are wearing gold numbers as well is beyond me. It’s not a Collingwood day, it’s not his teammates day. It doesn’t add to the moment but detracts.
