Another reason why the AFL should focus on getting the basics right before worrying about India, the Olympics, or whatever nonsense they’re pushing this week. Replays are still a farce. We have new rules even the players don’t understand. Rules around a nonexistent line at centre bounces. We have teams having byes in the early weeks of a season (including, insanely, over Opening round and Easter). And now they can’t even run the time clock? Other than selling sponsorships for every square inch of football real estate, I fail to see anything this administration is remotely competent at.
