It is very satisfying to see clay coming up to be mixed with the non wetting sand. Production should be increased very significantly.

@Westwud13 2L of gly 450 + 300ml starane with SOA, 0.5% oil and wetter has done a good job on big fleabane, marshmallow and melons in our pastures.

Anyone got any paraquat spikes or additives ideas on fleabane? Straight paraquat not working 100%

@Warramboo I’m just glad he got 10ha worth of liquid out. When I got the phone call all I could picture was the cart leaning hard to the left with fert gushing out of the top of the tank

@TimPolky On the positive side, the fluid can taken out easily. Very clean break though.

@LeonGill22 The bearings are fine (new last year, adjusted and greased in the last few days). Stub axle snapped, and of course filled up about 10ha ago

@TimPolky I should check the Fusion bearings next week.

@PatrickJaeschke @JakeToster Yeah, 8320RT. Originally we bought it to pull 10,000L sprayer and 40ft disc seeder. High speed work with an 8RT is not operator or machine friendly. They also don’t have diff lock, so if you get into a spot of bother you can’t turn out of it without losing traction completely.

John deere 8rt tractors. Anyone pulling larger seeders, thinking 60ft ish, or larger tug along sprayers with these tractors? Understand the cons with the 2 track tractors. Looking to kill 2 birds with one tractor. Please RT, have no followers. Cheers

@JakeToster @PatrickJaeschke Don’t do it! You’ll end up with a hernia after the first 100ha from getting rag dolled from door to mirror. We tried the same “kill two birds will one stone approach”… needless to say it was the youngest tractor on the farm and the first to get traded

Has anyone had this happen. Went to restart tractor after just shutting it down after a mornings work and kaboom,dust and smoke in cab and people running for cover outside!! 6 yr old bats.1blown,1 low volts,1 ok. Def feel younger today🤪🤞No frying of gadgets. couple new bats 👍🏼
