CFP | CHI 2026 Workshop (Barcelona, in-person): Human-Agent Collaboration LLM agents can sustain open-ended dialogue, reason, plan, and take action. Yet most still struggle to collaborate with humans: shared context, mutual awareness, mixed initiative, and shared accountability. The gap shows up as brittle coordination and trust miscalibration, plus risks like hallucinations, privacy/security failures, misaligned autonomy, and over-anthropomorphization. In this workshop, we propose a concrete design lens: treat LLM agents as remote collaborators. We could draw on decades of CSCW and HCI research to ask what carries over from distributed teamwork, what breaks, and what new interaction patterns we need for mixed-initiative, multi-party, and asynchronous human–agent work. We’ll have keynotes, panel discussions, selected lightning talks, posters, and a hands-on storyboard design session to map open problems and design directions. How to participate: (1) Submit a 2–4 page position paper (accepted papers receive reserved participation slots), or (2) Apply via a participatory form describing what you want to contribute or learn (invitations depend on available capacity).
