Our family tradition this past year has become yelling obscenities at the 6 o'clock news whenever Premier Cheesecake or one of his many minions, phartcatchers & bagboys appear on the screen. Now that the weather is warmer, windows are open--I'd like to apologize to the neighbours

EXCLUSIVE: the TDSB, under the Ford government’s control, is fighting to allow mid-rise development on school properties. Last week, the school board quietly filed an appeal against a city decision that would protect school sites: youtu.be/AbAN9NDNpKk?si…

Today, we mark Nowruz, the start of a new year for Persian communities in Ontario and around the world. This year, many Iranians enter the new year with heavy hearts, while remaining optimistic for a free and democratic Iran. Nowruz remains a symbol of resilience, strength and hope for better days ahead. Nowruz Pirooz.

I toured the Port of Hamilton yesterday, the largest port in Ontario and a critical trade link for the Great Lakes. As we work to build a more competitive and resilient economy that can stand up to tariffs, our sea ports, airports and other trade infrastructure are more important than ever.

Carney has ZERO CLASS. Poilievre REFUSED TO CRITICIZE CARNEY on the biggest podcast in the world. He could have done it. EASILY. He refused to do it on foreign soil. But Carney did the complete opposite ON AMERICAN NATIONAL TV

NEW: Premier Ford is making it illegal to resell tickets in Ontario for more than their original cost. This comes almost 7 years after his own government scrapped a law that would have capped resale prices at 50% above face value. Here’s what he said in Oct when I asked why:

Florida MAGA fisherman lays into Trump over Iran war: "I'm really scratching my head because I voted Republican. Most of us in the fishing industry did. We're not seeing the positives come out of it. We talked about no new wars. And here we are in a new war."

They're literally hiding the fact that illnesses spread through aerosols. They're literally censoring the information needed for people to be willing to protect themselves. By doing this, they weaponize misinformation, deny the truth, and contribute to ongoing harm.

Aaarrrghh! The cover-up begins… The WHO page about Meningococcal Meningitis & its modes of transmission (including the word ‘AEROSOL’) has just been removed from their website. Original link: who.int/teams/health-p… Thankfully there’s an archived page: web.archive.org/web/2026012701…

It's so flipping simple: You're more likely to develop invasive meningococcal disease if you have low CD4 T cell counts. And you're more likely to have low CD4 T cell counts after a Covid infection.

Enormously massively huge studies have shown that each wave of Covid infections causes damage to people's immune systems. The science is incontrovertible. And yet you will not find a single media article about the current meningitis outbreak that mentions that.

Ontario’s Primary Care Action Plan has beaten its 2025-2026 attachment targets, connecting more than 330,000 people to primary care since it was launched last year. We’re building on this success with a new Primary Care Medical Record system that will make health care more connected, secure and convenient for patients across Ontario. We’re also launching 124 new primary care teams provincewide and increasing overall funding for the plan to a historic $3.4 billion.

Maybe health journalists here should be letting people know that three times as many people are dying from infections as were before we let covid rip. As the *single underlying cause* of death. It's a complete absence of responsibility.

The five-second epistemology of the war game. In 2002 the empire paid $250 million to learn what happens when you sail a carrier battle group into the Strait of Hormuz. Van Riper — retired Marine three-star, 41-year veteran — commanded the Iranian side. He used motorcycle couriers instead of radios. Coded messages in the call to prayer from minarets. Small boats circulating in normal patterns until a single code word launched them all at once. Cruise missiles, suicide boats, land-based anti-ship missiles. In less than ten minutes he sank sixteen warships. One carrier. Ten cruisers. Five amphibious ships. Twenty thousand simulated dead. The empire’s response: they reset the game, restored the sunken fleet, ordered Van Riper not to shoot down incoming aircraft, forced his radar on so it could be destroyed, and scripted a Blue victory. Van Riper walked out. Said nothing was learned. Said $250 million was wasted. Said a culture not willing to think hard and test itself does not augur well for the future. That was 2002. Iran’s capabilities have increased by orders of magnitude since. Hypersonic anti-ship missiles. Drones by the thousand. The IRGC that Rezaei built from a semi-military force into the institution that has been launching wave 59. The institution that fires five missiles and fifteen drones a day from a military the empire says is gone. The institution whose intelligent and complete control has closed the Strait for nineteen days. And the empire is now sailing the USS Tripoli through Singapore with 5,000 Marines toward Kharg Island. Into the Strait. Into the exact scenario Van Riper won in ten minutes twenty-four years ago. Except now the other side has better missiles and better drones and a civilization in Karbala and a wartime leader martyred on Laylat al-Qadr and a new supreme leader who said not the right time for peace and an eight-year war general advising. Van Riper sank the fleet in a simulation and the empire reset the game. This isn’t a simulation. The Tripoli doesn’t get restored. The Marines don’t respawn. The empire sailing into the Strait three weeks after the first shot against a country fighting with an existential mindset that has been preparing for exactly this scenario since Van Riper showed them it works. Van Riper used the call to prayer to launch the attack. The other side has the call to prayer and Karbala and the Night of Power and 1,400 years of the founding story that says the righteous don’t retreat. The empire spent $250 million to learn that the Strait of Hormuz kills carrier groups. Learned nothing. Sailed in anyway. Twenty-four years later. Three weeks late. Through Singapore. Into the range of everything Van Riper simulated with a fraction of what Iran has now. Into Karbala. Day nineteen. The Tripoli is in Singapore. Van Riper sank the fleet in ten minutes. The Strait is closed. Some war game. Some empire.

The USS Tripoli has been spotted passing Singapore at speed, carrying 5,000 special forces toward the Gulf. Estimated arrival: March 25. Target: Kharg Island. Three weeks into the war, they are still rushing ships into position. No pre-positioned forces. No secured allies. No evacuation plan. No oil security. This is what one analyst called one of the most incompetent invasions ever seen – and the evidence keeps compiling. You do not improvise an assault on a country the size of Iran. You do not send an amphibious strike group through Singapore three weeks after the first shot is fired. Experts warned about sunken warships. Iran has hundreds of anti-ship missiles, including hypersonics. The Tripoli is now headed straight into that range. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1
