@AberdareNic I always think that as the person in the wheelchair I am the one humiliating the buildings owners by struggling over their inadequate ramps etc, rather than the one being humiliated. Probably just my way of coping but it helps!

As a disabled person, I just want to access buildings like everyone else, without fuss. I especially don’t want the humiliation of a crowd helping me up as my wheelchair tumbles over a bad ramp. I wish all public buildings were tested *by those running them* in wheelchairs 😢

Off to a research event in London today, I wasn’t sure my heart was in it after the loss of @DoddieWeir5 on the weekend. But then I thought about what Doddie would do and I know he’d say ‘crack on’ so I’ve fired up the wheelchair and I’m off! Hoping to get some 💰🔬👩🔬!!
