The Hydraulic Crane public house, Scotswood Road, #Newcastle upon Tyne.  One of the last pubs standing on Scotswood Road, however unfortunately demolished in 1996.

Large building at the front of the image on Shields Road is the JT Parrish department store "the Harrods of Byker"

1964: The terraced housing of #Byker, #Newcastle upon Tyne. Only the buildings on Shields Road at the front of the photo still stand today. The Metro lines and the Byker Wall estate have replaced the rows of houses.
