@My_Metro So basically e scooters are banned under health and safety of other passengers because they use lithium batteries but wheelchairs lithium batteries are ok. Is that right?

E-scooters are not permitted on our network including trains, stations, and platforms. They pose a potential fire/smoke risk due to faulty lithium-ion batteries, which could cause harm to both customers and staff. Thank you for helping us keep the Metro safe. ^ES

Regent Centre station will close at 9.00pm until the following morning each evening Monday to Thursday from 20 July until 13 August. During this time the 900 bus service will be running between Regent Centre and South Gosforth. For more details visit travelnortheast.uk/metro.

@Juliewar20 @My_Metro The metro system is absolutely pathetic has to be the worst public transport system in Europe, new trains are useless and definitely won’t last as long as the old ones I pity anyone that relies on the metro for work ☹️☹️

@My_Metro why was the 7 am metro from pelaw to South Hylton out of service? Nothing on the pop app etc this service is a disgrace
