@ozmeister3076 @NUFC @SunderlandAFC We are not running a bus replacement service, we had ticket acceptance on Go North East bus 26/27 and some customers have been provided taxis if unable to make their journey, organised via the help point.

We have a service suspension on the Yellow Line between South Shields and Bede in both directions due to a power supply issue. We are working to resolve this now. Go North East services 26 and 27 will accept Metro Pop cards and tickets.

@My_Metro are you banning booze on the metro for the newcastle v sunderland game on Sunday because it is banned on the buses from york and darlington and durham and places like that on Sunday and i have asked my train company to do the same in a few weeks time?

Following customer feedback, we have banned vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes on Metro. The introduction of the new byelaw means that anyone who gets caught vaping on Metro trains or stations (including on open air stations) can be fined up to £1,000.
