@exileugarte I'm actually really not a fan of his current level esp his brain I think he makes some truly baffling decisions at times and lacks sharpness and efficiency but ye in theory alot that can be coached and his physical and even technical base is elite/good. If we cop Baleba let's see

Still very very raw but Baleba's quality is undeniable.
Monstrous athlete, can carry past almost anyone with thunderous shooting power and an eye for slipped through balls.
Loads of work tho with regards to temperament, space management, angle bias + ball striking consistency.

Spot on, as someone who lacks top level coaching experience I always find I learn the most with the simplicity and execution of concepts from those who do have that experience

The 'X' football analysis is at a quality level. Mainstream TV shows are capturing trends built on this platform, and some of the work is outstanding. In the two years we have been on here, the number of people working on analysis has increased, and so has the level of knowledge. We were asked a question yesterday, how can it improve? In our opinion, the main purpose of analysts/pundits is to identify what most people can't see. But once they see it, they can't unsee it. The game is not complicated, and any interpretation of the game can be broken down. Creating a language around it helps readers see the unseen! The next part is 'how to coach it'. Not always easy for an analyst who hasn't worked on the training ground, but recognising how a player can improve on your points of analysis can take you to another level.

Huge luck, Trent has obviously superlative quality and even then the fundamental pill any manager has to swallow of "defender who is bad at defending" is something many simply wouldn't accept.
Think there's many realities where Trent would end up a meh RCM/RM at a lower level.

Kind of my point, most managers will side with a FB who's a 5-6/10 at everything vs a guy who's 9/10 at virtually every attacking attribute but a 3/10 on the other end (even if he's more impactful)
It's easier to find the attacking output elsewhere vs hiding a weak defensive FB

‘Well rounded’ and its players like Djed Spence who are crap at attacking and defending. No one is saying Trent should be a nailed on starter but not even considering such a uniquely gifted player defies logic to me, unless he’s a bad player to have in the dressing room somehow
