NHS DOCTOR EXPOSED 520 HARMED PATIENTS Peter Duffy @peter__duffy spent 43 years as a consultant urologist. He reported serious malpractice at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust (@UHMBT) to the CQC. A later inquiry confirmed over 520 patients had been harmed in his department. So what did the @NHS do? They paid him £102,000 at tribunal for constructive dismissal. Then, in 2020, emails suddenly "appeared" that placed the blame for a patient's avoidable death squarely on Duffy. The problem? Those same emails weren't found in a 2018 tribunal search of over 3,000 NHS records. One of them was received by a colleague three days before it was allegedly sent. Emails travelling backwards in time. Classic. The @GMC @GeneralMedicalCouncil ran a 30-month fitness-to-practise probe based on this evidence. They couldn't conclude the case because a cybersecurity report commissioned by the NHS, which found no tampering, was never disclosed to the regulator. Niche Health & Social Care Consulting, paid around £5 million by NHS England, carried out the investigation. The report stayed buried. GMC eventually dropped the case in May 2023 with no case to answer. By then it was too late. Duffy quit medicine entirely. Exhausted, sleep-deprived, and deeply disturbed after years of investigations, he had come close to admitting guilt over a patient's death on the basis of what turned out to be inadmissible evidence. He had been anonymously referred to the GMC seven times. In every single case, the regulator found no case to answer. This is not an isolated incident. @Telegraph spoke to 22 NHS whistleblower doctors referred to the GMC a combined 30 times. Nine said they were threatened with referral if they didn't drop their complaints. The NHS has a playbook for this. Refer, investigate, exhaust, repeat until the doctor breaks or quits. It works every time. Peter Duffy has an MBE. He no longer practises medicine. The trust has a new interim CEO. Nobody has faced criminal charges over the emails. NOW — It was revealed last night to me via an anonymous tip-off that the Register of Interests for Stevenage Borough Council, confirms that Cllr Mason Humberstone, who defected from Labour to Reform UK, is listed as a member of the Fabian Society. The Fabian Society is a long-established socialist organisation with deep ties to the Labour movement, responsible for many of the problems we are facing in modern Britain. I have contacted Reform UK HQ for comment, asking: - Whether they were aware of his Fabian membership at the time of defection. - Whether this is compatible with Reform’s values. - If any action will be taken.

Dr David Bull attended Chelmsford this evening for a Reform meeting. When I was on the committee, we had around 90 people attend without any guest speakers. Tonight, I counted roughly 30 attendees, where I would have expected closer to 150–200 given the circumstances. Since I spoke out about being bullied by Darren Brooke, many people have chosen to leave. I was kicked out of being a candidate and stopped receiving emails in Feb.

Hobbes update. Because he’s been in & out of a cone for nearly 4 months now, due to his obsessive-compulsive desire to eat his own leg, through no fault of his own, he’s now on a crash diet.
