@biggerb0at Windows Volume Control is disabled by default on Voicemeeter VAIOs, because Voicemeeter already provides all volume control. But if you still need the regular windows volume control on voicemeeter virtual input , you just have to enable this option in VAIO control panel...

@VB_Audio @Itsa_Me_Jay Hi! Everything is fine! It’s a rare occurrence. The only thing I get is every year I have to set a new code. And nothings changed on my computer(s), both of them this time I had to put a new code in. Which didn’t make sense.

cough if you need alternative options, you can look into Universal Audio's Volt line (my favorite), the SSL 2 Mk 2, or even something like the MOTU M2, classic really well put together interfaces (the volt is new though and i love it so im biased)

@HawkSlayer_ Yes, the update procedure remains the same, you must uninstall Voicemeeter and reboot your computer, before installing another version. It's the same for all our products including audio driver. The "reboot" process is finalizing the installation / uninstallation correctly.

@VB_Audio How does the update process work for the Microsoft Store version? Do we need to uninstall and reinstall every single update? Do A+B, C+D cables work? My least favorite thing about using Voicemeeter after all these years is having to uninstall and reinstall everything every time.

@ToeKneeTM @archer_uwu OK, but the comparison isn't relevant. This constant reference to Voicemeeter is also somewhat suspicious, and will honestly create false hopes. Voicemeeter is not only done for streamers, it provides hundreds other workflow for any users willing to manage audio effectively.

I've seen both and I understand where you are coming from, it's just your approach. The OP posted about how Wave Link is replacing VM for many users on these points. Let's get real for a minute: Most livestreamers and content creators used your product because at the time there wasn't a lot out here to meet the needs we had. We didn't need advanced matrixes or so many of the features your software offers. There are "knobs" and toggles in VM I never took time to try or even look into after FIVE YEARS of use. I simply used the virtual channels and the mixer for audio routing and as an elderly person, the tape deck to record some here and there. The OP is trying to share that Wave Link meets most of our needs for routing, ease of use and easy features without being as complicated or having a bunch of functionality that we don't need, that's all. I just suggest that maybe you check in on how you approach this. The tone is a bit of a turn off tbh.

@ToeKneeTM @archer_uwu Not at all, i was talking about the unrealistic comparison to Voicemeeter. Everybody can see that these are different products. And since wavelink 3 is now more designed as audio routing matrix, i invite you to compare it to our VB-Audio Matrix instead.

Um. The OP was talking about 5 points that make Wave 3.0 great, and you clap back with some technical jargon and imagined superiority? Bruh. Maybe you should stick to overcomplicated solutions for only a few select users while Elgato keeps clappin your cheeks on things that actually matter to us end users.

@CRUGGde Your configuration is maybe not optimal, for example you may use your focusrite ASIO driver as output A1 and your other output device on A2 BUS. But to get it works, you may use ASIO PATCH to route inputs as explained in this video: youtu.be/35N8hkOy8h4

@VB_Audio Headphones lost connection for a second? Need to switch to a different output device and back for it to work. Why doesn't it just work automatically? Furthermore, I've had many occurances where all audio just fully stopped working until I restarted VoiceMeeter. (2/2)

The vm_streamer view (installed with Voicemeeter) is given as source code example in our github... Different other projects have also been highlighted here.
