etn has raised $ 1.6M. From today, etn will be live 5-days a week out of our new 1500sqft studio in central London. In 10 months Ronan and I have scaled etn from just us 2, to 8 people. We’re building a team of people who feel as strongly as we do about building the tech network the continent needs. Our chief of staff, Alex said this to me this morning before we went live: Today will be the first time in history a company is live streaming the daily growth of a company. 1. Companies globally are being built faster than ever in history. Europe recently saw two of its largest ever seed rounds with AMI Labs and Ineffable Intelligence. @ElevenLabs just crossed £600M ARR in under 2.5 years, @WeAreLegora achieved one of the fastest growth trajectories in enterprise software history. 2. Technology is converging with culture. Technology entrepreneurs are becoming celebrities, celebrities are building AI companies. E.g. David Beckhams IM8 just raised $ 1B. We’ve experienced this in real time with the spread of guests on etn: F1 champions, world renowned authors, Government Ministers, public CEO’s, frontier AI Lab founders. 3. Everyone has a point to make in the global AI conversation. For AI to diffuse into everyday life, in schools, hospitals, manufacturing etc, the conversation needs to two things: Happening all the time and positive. etn is the channel from Europe that distributes that conversation. The @Elgato Prompter had so much potential, but it's riddled with software and hardware flaws that have frustrated me for the past year. • Camera Hub and DisplayLink software required • Camera Hub has numerous usability, performance, reliability, and stability problems • Prompter hardware frequently doesn't even turn on without its USB-C being unplugged and replugged • The hardware sometimes goes crazy with screen "tearing" But now I have a @Neewer X11 teleprompter for testing and it doesn't require special software, doesn't have all the glitches and annoyances (like preventing my Apple Watch from unlocking my Mac), and it works like a simple extra display. This has me tempted to completely ditch my Elgato Prompter for the Neewer.

This is a great (and of course free) firmware update for Facecam 4K

Just an advice, don't buy @elgato Stream Deck if you're in the middle east. You can't access their store without a VPN. There are alternatives.

@XM_Tech @SoloHopes @elgato @elgatomarket We've updated Marketplace to be available in Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan now. Everything should work with the exception of paid products, as Stripe does not support these countries from a tax perspective at this time. Is Marketplace now loading properly for you?

@JFest @SoloHopes @elgato @elgatomarket From Kuwait we can buy from Amazon, Apple, Google, Samsung, Netflix. Come to think of it the only things that don't work in Kuwait is your store and Paramount+

@XM_Tech @SoloHopes @elgato @elgatomarket I’m following up with our legal team, hopefully it is indeed a mistake and we can change this! It might be down to only paid plugins not working because our payment provider Stripe does not support these countries from a tax perspective.

Its a shame, i really like them but i don’t feel welcomed and having to use a vpn to use their product is really upsetting.
