It’s been exactly a year since my father left us forever.
I don’t usually talk about it online because everyone’s grieving process is different. But today has been emotionally overwhelming day for me as the flashbacks of last year are running on loop.
I feel his absence everyday, in different ways. Past one year has been all about adjusting to this new reality that on most days feels like a nightmare that I can’t escape. I’ve been angry at the world, at God for a really long time for his untimely departure. He left us way too early in life.
There’s not a single day gone by when I haven’t missed him. They say that you understand the value of something when that thing is gone. For me, that’s my father protecting, providing for our family in ways I couldn’t realise as a kid.
My heart still doesn’t believe he’s truly gone. If God exists, I hope he’s looking over our family. I hope my father is resting in peace.
I love you and miss you forever papa ❤️🙏🏻

@JioMart store sending Fungus Stale bread but expiry date is still due. These days, playing with health of public has become common because government officials ignore these games of big companies who are playing with fake expiry dates. #BonnBread #Bonn

#WATCH | Delhi: In the Lok Sabha, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, says, "The refineries are operating at high capacity utilisation. In several cases, they are exceeding 100%. There is no shortage of petrol, diesel, kerosene, ATF or fuel oil. The availability of petrol, diesel, aviation, turbine fuel, kerosene and fuel oil is fully assured..."
"Non Hormuz sourcing has risen to approximately 70 % of crude imports, up from 55 % before the conflict began. India's sources grew from 40 countries as against 27 in 2006 and 2007. This structural diversification built through sustained policy over successive years has given us options that other nations find themselves without. The refineries are operating at high capacity utilisation. In several cases, they are exceeding 100%. There is no shortage of petrol, diesel, kerosene, ATF or fuel oil. The availability of petrol, diesel, aviation, turbine fuel, kerosene and fuel oil is fully assured. Retail outlets across the country are stocked and supply chains for these products are functioning normally..."

#WATCH | Delhi | MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says, "External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar and Foreign Minister of Iran have had three conversations in the recent days. The last one discussed issues pertaining to the safety of shipping and India's energy security. Beyond that, it would be premature for me to say anything"

LPG shortage is a manufactured one.
Started by? Not people, not gas agencies, not news media.
Started by Hotel/Restaurant associations. Initially from 2 states in South governed by opposition, soon picked up & amplified by their comrades in rest of India.
Why them?
In November 2025 Income Tax department carried out investigation in the foods & beverages industry. During the exercise, it was found that several restaurants were engaged in deletion of bulk bills and other modifications to suppress the actual sales.
Advanced analytics of transactional data from about 1.77 lakh restaurants in the F&B sector was carried out using AI-enabled analytical tools. The data was compared with the turnover declared in their Income Tax Returns. The analysis revealed large-scale under-reporting of income.
Consequently, on 8 March 2026, a nationwide survey was conducted on 62 restaurants across 46 cities in 22 States. On a preliminary basis, the exercise revealed suppression of sales amounting to around ₹408 Crores.
With investigations underway, IT department asked these F&B owners file updated tax returns for which emails are being sent to 63,000 identified restaurants.
Deadline : 31 March 2026.
Why now?
With AI deployed in digging such mass scale of tax evasion, the timing of West Asia war was chosen to create panic. Once it spread across India, hoarding & black marketing started. Even though no shortage exists in real but this gimmick to bring government on its knees will not yield results.
At the time of war/calamity you have now seen this pattern - our own people create problems from within. Citizens are therefore cautioned to stay calm, not panic, & not to get swayed by any propaganda news. Max noise will come from restaurent/hotel/mess lobby.
Imagine the kind of internal warfare which will be created when we go for PoK. Biggest enemy of Indians are Indians, rest all come at a distant number 2.

.@AAPPunjab-backed Sarpanch, who was leading a village defence committee against drugs, has been caught with 18 kg of heroin worth ₹90 crore.
This exposes the harsh reality behind AAP’s so-called “war on drugs” in Punjab. When those entrusted with fighting the drug menace are themselves involved in trafficking, it clearly shows how deep the rot runs.
Punjab deserves answers. Who will take responsibility? Who allowed this nexus to flourish? Accountability cannot be avoided anymore.

@Raresidhu But giving 1000 still doesn’t solve the increasing problem of unemployment. You people should publish the change in the women unemployment if that has increased or decreased in Punjab.
English

The Indian National Congress in Telangana has shown what real governance looks like — not headlines, but real relief for people.
Free electricity, ₹2,500/month for women, ₹500 gas cylinders, free bus travel, ₹5 lakh for youth self-employment, housing support up to ₹5 lakh, and financial help for minority women.
Compare this with Punjab where the Aam Aadmi Party suddenly talks about ₹1,000 after 4 years of delay.
Women were promised ₹1,000 every month from day one.
That means ₹48,000 already lost in 4 years.
Punjabi women don’t need tokenism.
If the promise was real, pay the full ₹60,000 now.

Yesterday was World Obesity Day. I hate to be the guy who complains, but the numbers are scary.
Here are some stats from the recent Economic Survey:
23-24% of Indians are already overweight or obese (in 2019); this number was ~10% twenty years back. I am guessing it must have gotten a lot worse in the last 6 years.
3.3 crore children were obese in 2020 → projected 8.3 crore by 2035. Ultra-processed foods (UPFs) are one of the leading causes. Their sales went from $0.9 billion (₹7,500 crore) to $38 billion (₹316,000 crore) between 2006 and 2019. Obesity nearly doubled in the same period.
UPF sales grew over 150% just between 2009 and 2023. The acceleration is getting faster, not slower.
Even children under 5 aren't spared. Excess weight prevalence jumped from 2.1% to 3.4% in just 5 years (2015-2021).
I don't know what else to say apart from restating the obvious:
Try to eat homemade food and get quality ingredients. The more meals you eat outside, the more garbage that goes into your body.
Question the source of food, be it your milk, pulses, or anything else. The quality matters.
If nothing else, at least walk 30 minutes every day. Build a fitness habit first, then start with strength training and so on.
Sleep 7-8 hours. Bad sleep makes you hungrier and lazier the next day.
Keep your kids away from packaged snacks as much as possible. Habits formed at 8 will follow them at 40.
Less screen time, more movement. Touch some grass, stare at the sky, and move!
On a different note, I just read that major Indian pharma companies are preparing to launch GLP-1 drugs in India after the patent expires this month. These are the same drugs behind the Ozempic craze globally. I'm wondering about what the first and second-order effects will be.
