@CalltoActivism I used to give stuff away but I found that a series of no-shows resulted. I started putting prices on things and every person showed up. (But then I decline to take their money.) wild!

"I just went to buy a Samsung washer and dryer from a guy, and he was asking $500. I told him I just had a kid and if he could take $400, I’d be really grateful. I got home, hooked everything up, and everything worked great. I opened up the dryer to check the lint filter and I was shocked my $400 was sitting in there. There was a little coffee shop where two people arrived and approached the counter. “Five coffees ☕️ please. Two for us and three pending.” They paid, they took their two coffees and left. I asked the waiter. "What’s this about pending coffees?" “Wait and you'll see." Some more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid and left. The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - Three for them and four pending coffees. I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the pending coffees, they leave. Then, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely... “Do you have a coffee pending?” “Yes we do, sir.” They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer. People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink. This tradition started in Naples. Amazingly, it has spread throughout the world’s cities and towns. It’s also possible to order not only “pending coffees” but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities and towns where we live? Small kindnesses like this can impact so many lives, in ways we could never imagine. Maybe we should all try it. 😊❤️🌹

Robbie LOVES adopting senior dogs. He is sadly aware the longer a child remains in foster care the less likely they are to be adopted. He told me once "if all you guys had wanted was a baby, you would have never gotten me." He relates to our "old people" (that's what we call our senior dogs) in much the same way. He has also reminded me on several occasions that it doesn't matter how long you have something for how much you love it. He did not say the president indicted - which would only be a technical error if he had. He said the prez USED the DOJ to indict and try to take out his potential opponent. You're seeing in real time how disinformation works. This is an outright, intentional lie from someone who knows better. Governor Abbott graduated from Vanderbilt Law, was a Supreme Court Justice in Texas, and was the Attorney General. He knows that Trump was not indicted by the DOJ or by President Biden, but by a grand jury of Floridians who heard the evidence presented and made a decision based on the rule of law. The DOJ or a President cannot 'indict' anyone at their whim. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've seen this claim on your feed today. This lie is the passed around talking point that's being pushed out to allied Senators, Members of Congress, and Governors to repeat over and over again in hopes folks don't know any better — to distract from the substance of the indictment. It is a distraction from an action that deserves no excuses. Unfortunately for all of them, lies only support a cracking foundation for so long.
