I read your previous post about Cartman and Randy relying on gluten free episodes. But like, I live in the US, and in a red state. I can promise you, without hesitation, I hear ENOUGH about Donald Trump. I do NOT need Trump in every episode of my favorite show. I would give up a kidney for them to bring back Terrance Mephesto though, or even Trent Boyette. Something fresh. Something South Park. Something stupid and fun. And yes, I love how it wasn't preachy. That's the entire point to me... It spread good messages, but didn't shy away from explaining them in some unhinged, unethical way.

@Valphrex I totally feel you. I never found South Park hard to sit through before. But now I sometimes find myself fast-forwarding—then suddenly Trump’s hooking up with Satan. I miss all the old, hilarious characters that are gone now.

They have a ton of retired characters they could bring back. And honestly, a Trump episode here and there would be fair. They used to bring people in at total random all the time. Presidents, celebrities, whatever. But they were only present for one episode, maybe two, then they moved on. A whole season, though? I'm not watching South Park to see Donald Trump literally fucking Satan. I want to see the characters I grew up loving.

@Valphrex It’s usually those standalone episodes that blow me away. They aren’t overly complicated and absolutely fantastic.The current South Park has to rely on long story arcs to tell a story, cramming all kinds of political elements into it, which greatly kills the sense of freshness.

Natla looked so much better in Anniversary? What on earth are you talking about? Natla looked awful and strange and nothing like her original appearance... In fact, Amanda looked more like Natla than Natla did. Same thing with the doppelganger in Underworld looking more like the original Lara than Lara did.

I'm honestly sick of hearing about politics in my day to day life. I watch South Park for the boys, not for Donald Trump, or even Tegridy Farms, although I'd rather watch Tegridy than Trump. I find it exhausting when South Park makes long seasons where the episodes tie into one another. I liked how they were back in the day when anything could happen in one episode and then they would reset in the next as though nothing that happened before it mattered. When the seasons all tie into one another, you're stuck with it no matter what, unlike in the old days, where you could just dislike one episode but know that next week would be something new.

@Valphrex The newer seasons of South Park focus heavily on political satire, while the older ones, though also full of forward-thinking views and dark humor, centered more on kids. They feel lighter and more refreshing, and their storylines are always full of unexpected twists.

I personally love kids. If I had been in a better place, I would have maybe considered it once. But video game kids are just as fun, without the extreme cost of living. 😅But I'm also not one of those dumb motherfuckers that assumes that just because I can raise a digital child, I could raise a real one!

Diana is such a perfect little litmus test. The second you see her, you either feel that deep ache to be a dad or a mom... or you just appreciate an adorable character. And the ones who don’t are either fatherless or just projecting weirdos who have no business being around kids. She separates the healthy hearts from the broken ones every single time.

I absolutely hate abortion. I think it's horrible and tragic and I personally would never want to do this. I think every life is worth giving a chance (within reason, there are exceptions.) and that every life is valuable.
