They went too hard on the nerfs after they overbuffed her

We just pushed a patch that includes the following Octane changes: 🛠️ADJUSTED -Removed 'Fortified' from Stim Surge -Reduced the speed boost given by Stim (still an increase from pre-27.0) Dev note: We held back an Octane nerf from 28.0 because wanted to 'wait and see' how Fuse's rework launch would impact Octane's recent spike. Recently, looking at Valkyrie, we saw that Octane's rework naturally brought her back down to earth, with little nerfing of Valkyrie required. Over the first week of the season, Octane is still being picked and winning fights at a rate we consider unhealthy. That is the data we needed to action on nerfing what we consider the 'spikiest' elements of Octane's recent update, while preserving most of the new utility his rework brings.

Huge move for all levels of play. Lower ranks get a more familiar introduction to competitive, and higher ranks actively begin to mirror the ALGS allowing for more strategic play. 🫶 Much love to the team for hearing the community and making this change so quickly.

Alter is one of the most miserable characters i have ever experienced in any video game. Every single time you knock somebody in ranked the whole team alter tps and is on a different planet. The character completely ruins the ranked experience and if you aren't playing it you are trolling because she is so broken. The character completely changes the way you play the game and the way everybody else has to play the game and needs a rework desperately.

Your team has to get into a situation where you need to back up and it's usually when someones knocked or you're in a bad position, just don't let them run ffs

Agree literally a get out of jail for free card. Making mistakes in fights should basically cost your team the game. Only reason i enjoy playing her is cause her tac is fun. Would like to see her ult be something like she throws something down and in a 30m radius lets say your team can hit an interact key at any time to shift to a mirrored map of apex for lets say 20 seconds. You could heal or reposition, etc in that radius. Also enemies wouldnt be visible. Still kind of a get out of jail for free card if you could res but at least the team isnt teleporting across the map so they can still be punished.

You can see where they pushed back to most of the time and you can also follow them through said portals. Or finish the knock
