@VortexCaps @itsmine49 I wanted the Bears to trade down. Thieneman may have dropped to a later pick in the first round. If not, safeties like Haulcy, Stukes, Ramsey and others would all have been solid replacements. It is what it is and I hope it works out well.

@NFLCenterStage @itsmine49 I definitely agree the Bears need a pass rush, but they also lost safeties like byard and cjgj. Safety was a position of need, and Thieneman wasn’t expected to drop to 25. The first round edge talent like Akeem Mesidor and Malachi Lawrence were gone, so they selected accordingly

@VortexCaps @itsmine49 What most Bears' fans don't realize is how lucky the Bears were last season and their top turnover players are gone. Byard, Wright, Brisker, CJGJ & Edmunds combined for 19 INT, 4 FF, 4 FR & 5 sacks. A strong pass rush is necessary.
