Early adolescence is where futures are formed and gender norms take hold. Today, APHRC is meeting with representatives from counties across Kenya to launch a study on how gender norms affect youth aged 10–14. The study, which will run for the next five years, is part of a broader conversation on gender-transformative research that identifies and challenges harmful norms while informing programs and policies that promote equality and opportunity for all young people.
