Yesterday, #IamAPHRC and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences – Next Einstein Initiative (AIMS NEI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) to strengthen the visibility of African researchers and academic institutions as key drivers of research uptake, innovation, and policy change for sustainable development. Through this partnership, the two organizations will collaborate to promote research excellence and visibility across universities, research institutions, and the broader scientific community in Africa. The landmark initiative is aimed at strengthening collaboration, visibility, and impact across Kenya’s science, research, and innovation ecosystem. The blueprint provides a strategic framework to enhance coordination among stakeholders, promote evidence-informed decision-making, and position science and innovation as key drivers of national development and sustainable growth.
