I kept the receipts. It was posts like this along with big calls like Gold moving from sub $300 and likely to be $3000-6000 in 20 years that got me hired by Eric Sprott in 2002. But it’s all gonna happen way faster than we can imagine. Ai innovation is enabling new innovation and nanomaterial re-engineering of EVERYTHING we currently produce. Properties like 25% lighter but still stronger, last 2-3x longer, use 25% or more less energy, 40-50% more recyclable, anti microbial, anti bacterial, UV prof, hydrophobic, much higher conductivity. Structurally superior to handle wide range of temperature changes and environmental impacts, all while being less or non-toxic depending on if you want to improve polymers or work with bio materials For businesses it’s a massive risk time. Upgrade the factory now. With Gen 1 robots or way a couple years cause Gen 2 will be twice as good and cheaper. Meaning what you invest in today will rapidly depreciate. One thing that is for sure. What ever you produce you must innovate or face margin collapse as your competitors learn to do it better and cheaper. Your products can quickly become not just low margin, but negative margin. Amazons Bezos famously said… your margin in our opportunity.
