Marjorie Taylor Greene 🇺🇸
This is so extremely important. Happened last night on the House floor. The GOP is done. Behind the veil, they are one and the same as the Democrats. The betrayal on FISA, no ban on CBDC, not stopping AI in cars, protecting Glyphosate, the Iran war, and no domestic agenda lowering the cost of living and health insurance is all unforgivable.
Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸@FmrRepMTG

This is remarkable and you should watch this entire video. The House was going to pass a 45 day extension of FISA 702 (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act), BY VOICE WITHOUT VOTING, and Thomas Massie courageously forced a debate and demanded a recorded vote. Jim Jordan who has fought FOR warrants for FISA for years ironically led the debate AGAINST warrants and urged a YES vote for a clean extension WITHOUT warrants, which is what Trump is demanding even after FISA was used against him by the Democrats to spy on him and his campaign. Trump literally says give up your rights and just pass it and Jordan won’t go against Trump even though he wants warrant requirements. Chip Roy, Warren Davidson, and Keith Self joined Thomas Massie and made strong cases as to why Congress must add warrant requirements to FISA 702 and why a Central Bank Digital Currency must be banned and how both are powerful tools of control and surveillance and violation of your privacy and liberties. And Jamie Raskin (D) gave compelling arguments as to why bipartisanship is needed in the House to make reforms to FISA 702 yet after doing so he voted YES to a clean 45 day extension of FISA 702 without warrant requirements, which makes no sense. Why demand change and then literally vote for what you just argued against? However never forget under Biden and Democrats FISA 702 was used to spy on hundreds of thousands of Americans. Also, the Republican controlled Senate and its leader John Thune will not vote for a ban on Central Bank Digital Currency, saying it’s dead on arrival in the Senate. And neither will the Democrats. To sum it up, Americans are literally losing our precious privacy and freedoms right now under Trump and Republicans, yet Democrats are no better and have made no major policy changes that caused them to lose in 2024. They are only winning because Trump and Republicans have betrayed the most important campaign promises. 111 members of Congress voted NAY (NO) to the 45 day FISA 702 extension without warrant requirements for Americans so that your government can spy on you. Some voted NO in a partisan manner and because they hate Trump and some voted NO because they truly want change. Either way, those who voted NO should be recognized. Out of 111 ONLY 26 Republicans bravely voted NO. Here is the list of GOP NOs and pictured is the full list of both D’s and R’s who voted NO. Republican NO votes: Begich, Biggs (SC), Boebert, Brecheen, Burchett, Cammack, Cloud, Collins, Crane, Davidson, Downing, Fry, Fulcher, Gosar, Hageman, Harshbarger, Higgins (LA), Kennedy (UT), Luttrell, Massie, Miller (IL), Ogles, Perry, Roy, Self, and Tiffany. But after all this, the House passed the clean 45 day extension of FISA 702. After years of Trump and Republicans campaigning and demanding on Fox News that warrant requirements must be added to FISA, nothing changed. The promises they made to you are broken. The only thing that matters is voting records, none of their words. Words are meaningless puffs of air. If your Representative is not on this list, who voted NO, then you should tell them you are withdrawing your support and not voting for them. On both sides of the aisle. It doesn’t matter anymore whether you vote Republican or Democrat. Behind the veil, they are one and the same. Lastly, KY-4 your Representative Thomas Massie is a giant among men in Congress and fights for you harder than the entire House and Senate combined. Don’t be fools, vote for Thomas Massie!!!

Today Republicans and Democrats tried to use “unanimous consent” to pass a 45-day extension of warrantless spying on Americans without voting. I did not consent. I was able to force a vote and a debate. I used a rare parliamentary procedure to control half the time. Watch here:

After the devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami crippled the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, a remarkable group of retirees answered the call for help. More than 200 retired engineers and professionals, all aged 60 and older, volunteered to work at the damaged facility. They formed a unique unit known as the Skilled Veterans Corps, with the explicit goal of stabilizing the reactors while shielding younger workers from dangerous levels of radiation exposure. The initiative was spearheaded by 72-year-old retired engineer Yasuteru Yamada. He argued that older individuals were better suited for the high-risk tasks because they had fewer years of life ahead of them, meaning the potential long-term effects of radiation would be less devastating compared to younger workers with decades left to live. Alongside fellow retiree Nobuhiro Shiotani, Yamada recruited doctors, cooks, singers, and other experienced professionals, all driven by a profound sense of duty to their country. The group made it clear that their mission was not a suicide pact, but a practical and ethical decision to use their lifetime of skills for Japan’s recovery while protecting the next generation. Their selfless offer earned widespread admiration and respect, becoming a powerful symbol of sacrifice and civic responsibility in the face of crisis.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God. Born of the Father before all ages. God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God. Begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father. By whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And He became flesh by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary: and was made man. He was also crucified for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried. And on the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. And of His kingdom there will be no end. And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, and who spoke through the prophets. And one holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. And I await the resurrection of the dead. And the life of the world to come. Amen.

Sometime in the late 40’s, before either man were world famous, Frank Sinatra appeared in a theatre in New York. After his show, he went to Harlem to see the Will Maston Trio led by a young Sammy Davis Jr. Frank is blown away by Sammy’s talent, and after the show, he asks Sammy to come see his show. A week goes by. No Sammy. Sinatra goes back to Harlem to see the Will Maston Trio again and asks Sammy why he didn’t show. Sammy said he was there, but they wouldn’t let him in. Frank stormed back to the theatre, tore up his contract in front of them, and never performed there again. That would be a common theme during the course of their friendship and careers. When Sammy wasn’t allowed to play at the Copacabana, Frank wouldn’t play there either. When Sammy was refused a Las Vegas hotel room, Frank said, “Give him my room!” After Sammy’s car accident where he lost his eye, it was Sinatra who paid all his medical bills. After 5 decades and 40 years of performing together, a reporter once asked Frank why he was always so charitable to Sammy. Frank responded in three words, “He’s my brother.”

Echoes of War
Echoes of War@EchoesofWarYT·
Ulysses S. Grant and James Longstreet had one of the more remarkable friendships in American history, made all the more striking because they ended up on opposite sides of the Civil War. They met as cadets at West Point in the early 1840s and became close friends despite their different backgrounds. Longstreet, a Georgian, was outgoing and physically imposing, while Grant was quieter and smaller, but they bonded over a shared dislike of military pretension and a love of horses. After graduation they served together in the Mexican-American War, where they fought alongside each other and deepened the friendship. The personal connection became family. Longstreet was related to Grant’s future wife, Julia Dent, through his cousin. Longstreet attended Grant and Julia’s wedding in 1848 and, by some accounts, served as a groomsman or best man. The two men remained close until the Civil War divided them, with Longstreet becoming one of Robert E. Lee’s most trusted corps commanders and Grant rising to command all Union armies. One of the most telling moments came in 1864, when Grant was given command of all Union armies and Confederate officers around Lee’s headquarters were dismissing him as a drunkard and a butcher who had only succeeded against second-rate Western generals. Longstreet, who knew Grant better than any man in gray, reportedly silenced the room by warning his fellow officers something to the effect of, “that man will fight us every day and every hour till the end of the war.” He told them not to underestimate Grant’s tenacity, that he was a soldier of singular determination, and that the Confederacy now faced an opponent unlike any it had met before. History proved him exactly right, the Overland Campaign that followed was the bloodiest and most relentless pressure Lee’s army ever endured. What’s most touching is what happened after the war. When the two met again at Appomattox in 1865, Grant reportedly greeted Longstreet warmly, offered him a cigar, and invited him to play a game of cards “as if nothing had ever happened.” Grant later used his political influence to help Longstreet receive a pardon and restoration of citizenship. Longstreet then committed what many former Confederates considered an unforgivable betrayal: he became a Republican, supported Grant’s presidential campaigns, and accepted federal appointments from him, including minister to the Ottoman Empire. This earned Longstreet decades of vilification from Lost Cause writers, but he never wavered in his loyalty to his old friend.
