"Directionally right" lol - @elonmusk promised driverless Austin Robotaxis in Sep by yr end, doubled down on that claim on the Oct earnings call, then at the Dec xAI hackathon said it was "3 weeks away." By Dec 31? Still safety drivers. 160 cars instead of 1,500. 0 cities instead of 8-10. But yeah… directionally right 👍

Elon often has very ambitious goals, but I think he is almost always directionally right. Chip manufacturing has been, and will continue to be, the bottleneck for AI. Samsung, TSMC, Micron, etc. will not be able to meet demand for a long time.
