@charlot_summers Thank you Charlotte. More representation and changing views will help over time but we also need more support for people in these critical decision making/career transition stages now. Also wider things like funding and structural support for ICM departments.

Women are the majority of medical students in the UK, yet there are still pockets of the medical profession where dinosaurs are alive, well & roam the earth.
Turns out my own clinical specialty (ICM) is sadly one such place….

Shocking differences. Residents of Barking and Dagenham have the same life expectancy as they did 10 years ago, compared to boroughs like Kensington and Chelsea where improvements have continued until much more recently.
