Given the issues of fixation on intubation in airway crises, it seems unfortunate that there is not more emphasis on ensuring attempts at FMV in the 2025 @dasairway algorithm.

Historically Plan A of the @dasairway guidelines has always been "intubation & FMV". However, in the 2025 algorithm Plan A is now ONLY intubation. FMV is mentioned in the text but apart from a vague reference to "oxygenate" the algorithm only prompts one attempt at FMV!

Shared environments with everyone having to use the same packages and software versions are one of the many issues with doing interesting data work properly.

@willtube4food @FinnCatling @rmoonesinghe @NELANews Yes, just most data safe havens are isolated with restricted access e.g. requests out to cran for R packages only, and require review of anything leaving. I guess that restriction wasn't there for you guys.

@_alexfowler @FinnCatling @rmoonesinghe @NELANews Thanks! The data doesn't leave the research environment, only code flows back and forth. Just because you're working with clinical data doesn't mean you need to be completely isolated from the internet.
