A lot of the people hating on me in that post don’t even know that I don’t have a Computer Science degree myself. In fact, I don’t even have a BSc. Yet I’ve built a business that generates significant profits on a monthly basis But when I say your skills alone may not be enough on a global level, I’m speaking from years of experience watching how companies hire. If you don’t have a proper educational background and you have the opportunity to get a BSc, go and get it. Don’t let anyone gaslight you into thinking it doesn’t matter. The funny thing is that many of the people shouting online already have degrees. Just because they aren’t making money with theirs doesn’t mean the degree has no value. Today, many companies use automated systems to screen applications. If 2,000 people apply for a role, software often filters them down to maybe 40 candidates before a human ever looks at them. Those systems don’t care what side projects you’ve built first—they check qualification criteria like “Computer Science or related degree” before anything else. That’s the reality. Ignore it if you want, but it absolutely matters.

If you don’t have a BSc in CS your tech skills is worthless on a global level
