So, - Sykkuno was living with his girlfriend (who he struggled to actually break up with, even though the relationship was already dead) - He didn’t initially tell people who were highly interested in him and actively seeking him out - A ton of people wanted to sleep with him… and apparently wanted to move in after like two days of talking - He cheated on said girlfriend (who, from what Sykkuno himself said in the voice call, was basically a girlfriend in name only—we’ll probably learn more as this unfolds) - The accuser still wanted a relationship with him afterward but got cut out of his life - And then came the very coordinated effort to turn it into a full hit piece against him So… Sykkuno is a cheater and a player. He flirted with and got with consenting adults, but he was living with his kinda-sorta girlfriend and didn’t disclose it—which is nasty He’s an asshole, but calling him “dangerous” or a “predator” is straight-up defamatory. That word is heavily associated with pedophiles in everyone’s minds and feels like an intentional buzzword to sensationalize this and do maximum damage, rather than an actually honest take from the heart What seems to me should be the takeaway: the VTuber space needs to chill on being horny 24/7. We gotta stop ripping our clothes off within days for people we barely know… Streamers in general need to be more professional, and be way more skeptical of other content creators in general. When money and fame are involved, people (women included) are willing to accept or even participate in some wildly sketchy shit because it’s beneficial I’ve seen so much diabolical shit from women and men in this space over the past 5 years—all in the name of pride, greed, lust, envy, etc. It’s not even funny Tons of streamers do predatory shit. Entire careers are built on inherently predatory dynamics for money and clout The problem here is that he cheated on a girlfriend he didn’t have the balls to break up with, and wasn’t completely honest with girls who were seriously interested in him about his situation. Motive seemed lustful in nature—which is something we see everywhere, ESPECIALLY in the VTuber scene, from a lot of women as well. Seems he wasn’t coming from a space of romantic interest. It was just lust from everyone all around He’s an asshole and a player—not a pedophile, not a rapist. He’s an ass and wrong for what he did, but he doesn’t seem to be the only one in the wrong. His girlfriend is the clear victim here, however TONS of streamers (women and men) are nasty and predatory. It should ALL be taken seriously, but it never ever is and likely never will be

Oh my god. Thank god I turned him down. Sykkuno reached out to me after seeing me in VRChat one day and always messaged out of nowhere or tried to meet up with me at conventions. He bought me steam games. He showed up in my city for a league tournament and invited me out to a group event, paid for me to play and all my drinks, and we planned to go back out… so he ubered us to my apartment to store all the prizes we won. (Dumb on my part but I had been drinking) we ended up going to a bar with vintage arcade games to play more and as a joke told me if I got the high score he’d pay my rent :’) (he knew I was struggling) after some more drinks we had to go back to my apartment to pick up the prizes. He wanted to stay and play games or watch a show with me.. I didn’t feel comfortable and politely thanked him for the night. Sykunno grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in against his body and asked in a flirty tone “so, do you want something”. ATP I was really nervous but I just told him no sorry but thank you for the fun and to have a good night. I never knew he had a girlfriend, nor was I interested. I can’t imagine if i had fallen for his playboy tricks 😭 he has always wanted to meet up at events over the few years i knew him but never with my friends, he wanted to meet alone.. this is fucking scary. My friends thought it was weird too. Thank god I had such good friends making sure I was being safe. I love you guys.

The replies to this are insane man 😭 Marathon has 2 "gamemodes" to make it more unique and fun than other extraction shooters. Ranked and Cryo Archive. If 1 of the 2 is completely unplayable w/o playing cheaters its definitely an "infestation" I think I played 20 ranked games yesterday and dealt w/ cheaters in over 50% of the matches. Cheaters do feel like they are only in ranked, but its still a massive issue.

I am unfortunately unable to reply directly, so I would love to clear my name here .. bare with me, I’m sorry for the drama ): When I had sketched sumis model, I was still figuring out my model style, the 2 other examples shown were after countless revisions and edits. I was really happy with it and wanted to practice staying consistent, hence the face similarities. The picture shown was purely the sketch alone, not the model. I care so much about all my clients and their satisfaction, this is how her model sketch changed to after she had voiced her disappointement, and I spent an entire making sure I could make something she would be happy with. I completely redrew the entire sketch from scratch. There is a reason why my model prices have now doubled in price, I no longer want to do the same as I did before. I fully adapt the style based on the characters personality and the clients wishes. I am still to this day figuring out my style, my style will keep changing and evolving, every artist goes through this.

The beauty of what bungie did with Marathon, is they took all the fun stuff about BRs and Competitive shooters and blended it with just enough extraction shooter to make every raid a novel experience. When you play a BR, everyone's goals are always the same. Loot, Gear up, Get a good position on the next circle. This leads to very repetitive and predictive game play. Extraction shooters mean that just about everyone on the map has different goals and reasons for being there. This is why your fights rarely happen in the same place, and even when they happen in the same general area they never go down the same way. Anyone who has sunk any time into extraction shooters knows this. The big deal is Marathon is the first game to really pull off a competitive PvP experience that is really well balanced while still having the the soul of an extraction shooter. This is the best way I can explain why the game has such deep hooks in me and why I am loving playing it. I can't stress enough how this is not a replacement for Tarkov, or ARC, or any other game really. It is a completely different experience.
