“There shouldn’t be any more degen mints” Let’s discuss this. Last I checked you’re in a decentralized open market. Where you’ll have good and bad players. Since 2021 there’s been projects that are seriously invested in building a brand, there’s some who want to push the boundaries of the tech, there’s some who want to share art and there’s some who just realize there’s a good opportunity in the market to make money. Firstly, let’s clear this out. No one can make these degen mints disappear. They’re part of the ecosystem and they’ll always be there. Where there’s money there will be new people looking to make a quick buck just like traders will be looking to make a quick buck. Out of these degen projects there will be some true gems. The outliers. Those that will build a brand and do good. To be honest, there’s some mints that people considered “degen” that turned out to do really good as well or turned to being serious projects. So I really don’t understand all this drama around “I’m tired of degen mints” If you’re tired then skip the mint and focus your energy on mints that you’re interested in. It’s really that simple. I’m of the opinion that we are in a free market. This means we can’t gate who comes in or stays in this space. Let the market decide. And yes, if you truly see a red flag then point it out.
