@shawzac Travel can be very inaccessible for many disabled people, so hosting a separate event means travelling into London twice so potentially means that people will miss out on attending an event held separately due to the cost / stress of travelling. 2/2

@shawzac I was really sad to see the Olympic Medallists being hosted at an after party as we were left out. We’d all been invited to the Palace on the same day as one Team, but it feels like the separate Paralympic event now feels after thought. 1/2
