All the noise for the Jets has been about the No. 2 pick (my prediction hasn’t changed) but the No. 16 spot is ultimately more interesting to me. You’d like the Jets to come out of today with a new starting WR. My leading contenders would be Omar Cooper and Makai Lemon. Maybe Denzel Boston — but you’d feel better about him after a trade back. If the WRs they actually want are gone and you’re rooting for the Jets to trade back from 16, ideally the top OL make it to that pick. A lot of teams after them who want/need OL (Lions, Steelers, Chargers, Eagles, Browns). If the Jets don’t like the WRs there at 16 and can’t find a trade, I could see a pivot to another defensive player (lean DB) — and can’t completely rule out Kenyon Sadiq, though I’m not convinced he’ll be there.
