Nigeria has failed so heavily as a country that its people have to use South Africans' achievements for validation. It's the only way to sanitize their global image because their own nation gives them nothing to be proud of. They're just desperate to be associated with success😂
.@carterdalast

Mind you nobody knew this show existed until Nigerians started gassing it up Once again Nigerians are giving South Africans global audiences as usual while they continue being xenophobic to us When will we learn???

Malawi🤔 behave!! Let us school the Malawian government not with insults, but with statistics. Because numbers do not lie. And they reveal a government that has failed its people, then blamed South Africa for its own incompetence. Poverty sitting at over 70% of Malawians live below the international poverty line. The country remains one of the poorest in the world, despite billions in foreign aid and a wealth of natural resources. Malawi is heavily reliant on tobacco, which accounts for over 60% of exports. Yet farmers are among the poorest, and the sector is vulnerable to climate shocks and global price fluctuations. No value addition. No industrialisation. Hmmm and in healthcare Malawi has 0.07 physicians per 1,000 people far below the WHO recommendation. Maternal mortality is alarmingly high at 349 per 100,000 live births. Life expectancy is just 64 years nje! 😭Only 12% of the population has access to electricity. The road network is poorly maintained, and the railway system is largely non-functional. Malawi ranks 105th out of 180 countries on the Corruption Perceptions Index a score of just 34/100. Billions in aid have been stolen or misappropriated. Deportations❤️‍🩹In 2024 alone, over 1,300 Malawians were deported from South Africa, the UK, and other countries—for illegal immigration, fraud, and overstaying visas. Yet you issued a statement blaming South Africa for "xenophobic attacks." Where is your accountability? Where are your plans to create jobs, build infrastructure, and provide healthcare? Instead of pointing fingers, fix your country. Then we will talk.
Malawi Government🇲🇼@MalawiGovt

Repatriated Malawians from South Africa have commended the government for their safe return. The returnees say they finally feel safe after facing life-threatening situations during the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa. facebook.com/share/p/1MHZdR…

Dear Xenophobic South Africans 🇿🇦, For those of you who foolishly think you don’t have your people in other countries, and that even if you do, they are all staying there legally, On March 1, 2026, 63 South Africans were deported from Ireland to South Africa. This operation was carried out by the Garda National Immigration Bureau. 10 (~16%) of the deportees were convicted of offences in Ireland. This is how civilised countries handle illegal immigration. The country doesn’t allow citizens to behave like animals, go around beating up anyone who doesn’t speak their language, loot their shops, and dehumanise them, as is happening in South Africa. rte.ie/news/ireland/2… independent.co.uk/news/world/eur…

The Nigerian government is fighting a loosing battle against the notorious defecators. Only 126 government areas are allegedly open defecation free out of 774, this means that 80% of the Nigerian countries is open public pooping, this includes national roads near from Lagos airport.

This American gentleman calls out Africans for their hypocrisy towards South Africa. He says if South Africa is as bad as they say, why don't they leave and go back to their countries

I don’t have hard evidence. But my zooming skills tell me that whoever is fuelling South Africa’s hatred of fellow black Africans has them exactly where they need them. Divide them. Isolate them. Turn neighbours into enemies. Convince them they’re standing alone. That’s how every successful conquest begins. South Africa, you’re being sold “nationalism” while being quietly ushered towards a sophisticated form of recolonisation. By the time you realise it, the chains may just have a different logo on them. Mark my words.

@CarnageWav I really have no interest—whatsoever—in arguing with you however I do want to point out a spelling error because unfortunately poor spellings do bug me: it’s fools not fulls. the grammar and punctuation also need work, but maybe more on that tomorrow.

Xenophobes now claim we’ve always been jealous of South Africans and use xenophobia as a cover for it. Ironically, it’s this very (misguided) exceptionalism—the belief that South Africans are somehow better than other Africans—that got us here.
