That police car deformation gives me real hope.
The fender doesn’t just dent it wobbles, vibrates, and flexes after the explosion like actual metal under stress, then slowly settles. It feels fully dynamic, not like the old pre-set damage states.
Honestly, if this is why it’s 30 FPS, I get it. This is GTA IV–level physics pushed further, with hints of BeamNG-style realism.
If crashes across the game match this detail different materials reacting differently, chain impacts, more natural destruction GTA VI could feel insanely immersive.

@GTA_Unlimited It’s all part of the package really. But for me the world and NPCs outside of the story counts more because of the emergent gameplay potential. If the world felt too compressed in the size of the various areas, or lifeless, or lacking interiors that would be such a letdown (1/2)

I personally would love to see up to 64-player lobbies. Just imagine how chaotic the state of Leonida will feel in GTA 6 Online (or whatever they end up calling it)

It’s a PS5 game, they probably won’t make the next GTA until PS7 but this won’t be the last one. Technology is getting better, in 10-20 years time the way we are advancing the game will be outdated.

Honestly, I really feel like this could end up being the final GTA game we ever get.
With how massive and detailed it already looks from the sheer number of enterable buildings to the deeper mechanics like fuel systems, smarter driving, and more interactive cutscenes it feels less like a typical sequel and more like a long-term platform Rockstar plans to keep evolving for years.
If they keep expanding it with updates, new content, and maybe even new cities over time, there might not even be a need for a “GTA 7.” This could be the one they build on for the foreseeable future.

The Pentagon framed it as a matter of national security. The Iran war burned through Tomahawks at nine times the annual procurement rate. Fired every PrSM in the inventory. Depleted Patriot interceptors across the region. The defense industrial base built for peacetime deterrence couldn't keep up with six weeks of actual war. During World War II, Detroit stopped making cars and started making bombers. During COVID, GM and Ford made ventilators. Now the Pentagon wants to know if they can make missiles. The $1.5 trillion defense budget request, the largest in modern history, calls for major investment in munitions and drone manufacturing. But traditional contractors can't scale fast enough.
