🚀 We’ve launched 5 pitching events where 100 businesses are showcasing progress after our U-Prototype & U-Accelerate support. 37 will receive grants ($90–$565) + 3 months mentorship to grow sustainably. Strengthening refugee livelihoods when it matters most. 🌍

🚀 Today we completed a U-Prototype training, supporting 50 youth to develop business plans using the @ILO #SIYB tool. With @OpportunityInt & #CFYE, this continues the RISE-T program, empowering 100 youth to grow social enterprises & create jobs. @HiltonFound @MastercardFdn

🌟 Closing 2025 serving mission! With support from @OpportunityIntl & #CYFE, UNLEASHED trained 50 refugee & host community businesses through our Catalytic Program using #SIYB. 25 improved business systems & 25 developed business plans. Training + coaching = more jobs in 2026.

🚀 After the #i_UPSHIFT pitching event, UNLEASHED with @ILOProspects gave 💵 $100 seed funding to 3️⃣6️⃣ youth-led groups that have opened bank accounts. Among them is #Chalkify that has produced 9⃣5⃣ boxes of eco-chalk & sold 1⃣0⃣, aiming to supply schools in Nakivale & Isingiro.

This week on July 11, through #i_Upshift, 4️⃣8️⃣ youth-led teams pitched their ideas, showcasing their business models & prototypes. 3️⃣6️⃣ groups will each receive $100 to refine their solutions & test them in the market. Thanks to @IloProspects

"🌟 Inspiring Day! Today, our Social Innovation Symposium brought together 3⃣0⃣0⃣ #youth from #i_Upshift program! Panels tackled mindset topics & innovators shared experiences. Social interactions & peer learning can trigger ripple effects on youth mindset & economic development.

This 8th July 2025, we bring together youth from 2 phases of the i-UPSHIFT Program for a day of inspiration, and peer learning. The event will be a mix of panel discussions, exhibition and networking that will bring learning about vision, team, product, and market development.

On this 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ world #refugee day, we take the opportunity to celebrate our partners and supporters of jobs creation, jobs improvement, enterprise creation and development and much more the young refugees who are changing the narrative through their initiatives. @Refugees
