I was just asked what’s been the one most effective treatment I’ve seen for Long Covid, & I’ve seen lots.
It’s been antibiotics.
The virus persists, causing reactivation of other infections. Some, ie bartonella, are antibiotic responsive. Some need different treatments.

Ik wil het onmogelijke. Want ik wil per se een kaart met zowel reliëf en bos. Want een kaart van Twente zonder bos en/of zonder reliëf, is waardeloos.

@HoosMariska @riendebock Het zijn ook mensen die patiënten potentieel in gevaar hebben gebracht. De wetgeving is er met een reden, om de (wanhopige) patiënt te beschermen

@riendebock Nee dat klopt. En inhoudelijk is er veel mis mee en ook gemiste kansen zeg maar. Maar ik bedoel nu de strafkant...vind het nogal wat..voor mensen die toch hun nek uit steken voor hulpvragende groep zeg maar.

@Bert_with_ME @Dan_Wyke I had the opposite with long covid, after about 8 months the concussed feeling just stopped (but fatigue stayed)

Does anyone have an ME/CFS hypothesis that explains this phenomenon?
Why do many patients, including myself, report an acute moment where it felt like their brain was concussed/electrocuted, and after that things were never the same again?

Many of my most severe ME/CFS patients can recall the exact moment of sickness, ie., when "a switch was flipped" in their brain. If there's an ON switch, there needs to be an OFF switch.

I'm thinking of trying Co Enzyme Q10 again. In 2013 it helped a little but life circumstances changed and I couldn't even afford a bottle. Everytime I've tried since I can't get through the insomnia. Should I try again? Even a 5% improvement would help so much.
