To reiterate, I’m not talking about “next-gen CarPlay” which requires automaker’s involvement and effectively seems to be abandonware.
Just use CarPlay for like an hour and you’ll quickly realize how much stuff Apple could and should improve on their own for all existing cars.

@holy_schnitt So I’ve read quite a bit of replies and there’s been maybe a small handful of people talk about the water. Coffee shop water is heavily filtered for the machines. Best water to use in at machines is Crystal Geyser. Try that and see it your coffee changes

If there was ever a need to release a “Snow Leopard” for iOS, it’s now. Go under the hood and fix all the little weird bugs that have been neglected for years. Fix the incongruent UX. Make iOS stable again.
Add zero new features. Fix shoddy crap.

I continue to hear that the gradual rollout of features across iOS 18 to iOS 18.4 is leading to delays of some features scheduled for iOS 19. That will lead to a long term rollout of features next cycle as well. Engineers are stuck working on iOS 18 projects when they’d usually already be on to the following OS.
