#AsianAmericans are so often faced with literal silence when we speak out against racism. Bystanders, watching. Silence tells me that my experiences are too foreign to be relatable, and too foreign to deserve your empathy and outrage. #SilenceIsNotAnOption

I never knew the pain that comes with silence (especially friends) until the last few weeks. Now when I see another Asian calling out racism and microaggressions, I DM them to say that they are seen and that I share their frustrations. #StopAAPIHate #StopAsianHateCrimes
