Some sad news - my dear father, Mark Gerson, died last night, peacefully at home, aged 104. Here he is on VE day last year. He leaves a wonderful photographic collection of famous authors many held by the @NPGLondon . He also leaves many happy memories ♥️

Met with my oncology surgeon today ,prognosis is this.........Stage 2 melanoma, surgery is tomorrow to remove and a couple of lymph nodes for biopsy. It's happening fast so I'm probably gonna be out of commission for a while so you guys behave ............much love.

Had a biopsy of a mass recently. Got the news today that it is benign. Will require surgery, but that should be sufficient. Praise God.

My wife coded this morning. After consultation with palliative care and having a full understanding of her road forward, we have activated her DNR order. Should she code again, care team is to allow her to enter heaven peacefully. I love you forever, T.
