@OpportunityZoo @NikTek @AlpinDale I think it's just crapshoot with the Dualsense. My launch Dualsense is completely fine, but my newer black Dualsense developed stick drift. And that launch Dualsense has had a ton more gaming hours on it. It's a bummer cause I was treating that newer black one with kid gloves.

@NikTek @AlpinDale I've had the base dualsense as my main PC control for like 5 years now, I genuinely don't know how people get stick drift.
The adaptive triggers and haptics are genuinely nuts as well.
If the steam controller had adaptive triggers it would be my main.

The Steam Controller comes with haptic dual trackpads and drift-resistant TMR magnetic joysticks, yet some people seem to call Steam crazy for pricing it at $99.
I never expected this controller to cost anywhere near in the range of $60 to $70.
Although $100 isn’t cheap, what you’re getting here is a controller that is going to last much longer than any of these other ones.

There was an episode on twilight zone or other similar Series.
Prisoners were fitted with a device that created the illusion all in their mind that they’d served their sentence but in real time. So a 50 year entente played out like 50 years in real time in just a few hours. The practice was discontinued because too many of the prisoners went insane.

@hradzka @ScottApogee It’s a double edge sword with these older shows getting licensed music for cheap. They end up never getting a re-release or the music gets replaced with something generic. Pretty sure part of the reason the license is more expensive now is to account for future re-releases.

We licensed Don't Fear the Reaper to use in Prey for $10k back in 2006. Nowadays that same song would cost $150k. We tried to license songs for recent games in the past 2-4 years and the prices are insane now, so we had to pass. These music license companies seem to think all game studios have Hollywood film sized budgets.
