Absolutely. All you need is a way to expose/introduce people to what you're doing and social is one way to do that, but certainly not the only one. For example, with a newsletter you can do: • Cross promotions with other newsletters • Appear as a guest on podcasts • Recommendations/Creator Network on @ConvertKit • Buy ads in other newsletters or on social to promote your newsletter • Post the newsletter or blog posts on a website and get traffic from SEO • Cold email people who may find the newsletter helpful And a whole bunch of other options. I like it, but a couple thoughts: 1. Book your portrait just going to a blank email is a bit jarring. Feels like it should go to a page with more details or something. 2. Does any woman not consider herself a “modern woman?” You might want to tweak the headline to speak directly to a potential buyer. Something like… “You earned this moment. You deserve to capture it.”

Realization I had while listening to @JamesClear on Rethinking. My days are optimized for caring for my children + running my household. Gotta keep reminding myself that a lot of advice for freelancers/ small biz owners is for ppl who aren't caring for kids 24/7. (And that's ok!)

@jspector just checked out the latest I Want to Know ep. My q is: how many newsletter subscribers do you need in order to get a business/ brand to place an ad in your newsletter? I know you didn't seek them out, but do I need to? I have <1k subscribers (rn).
