A GP in the UK gets less money than that per appointment they hold and you can see a private GP here for like £55 then get the medication for free anyway.
Went to a hospital in Chongqing today to get some tests the NHS is dragging their heels on.
- Arrived at 8:05am
- Booked a consultation with the GP
- Checked in via QR code
- Went in for a consultation with the GP at 8:15am
- Booked me in for the tests at 8:45am
- Tests completed and left the hospital at 9am
All for £45.
Meanwhile the NHS eats up nearly half my taxes, and has provided no treatment for an issue tested for and diagnosed in spring 2024. The Chinese GP thinks it may even be possible to buy medicine from China and get it shipped to the UK.
