Life is completely unpredictable. Back in high school, I was top three in my class, I lead the quiz team and won prizes for that school. I was so good at chemistry the principal assigned me to teach some of my classmates organic chemistry. I was also the first to secure admission. I got it less than two months post graduation and for nothing other than medicine. But as fate would have it, I was one of the last to graduate. Talk about life being a beech. One of my classmates got admission while I was in 300l but he was serving NYSC when I finally did induction. But that's not the fascinating part of this story. Back in school, you'd think we the brilliant chaps would be the first to blow in life but alas life doesn't work that way. One of my pals that I personally coach chemistry, the same guy who got admission while I was in 300l is a co-founder of a major logistics startup today. Last I saw on IG, he drives one mad lexus and lives in his own house on the island. One of my other best friends in art class then, not in the top 10 in class, is in the UK now married to a British citizen. When this guy sent me $50 during my wedding, if you know how happy I was ehn? (he has stopped replying to me though, I don too bill am). I can list more than 5 of my classmates who weren't too academically sound all doing well financially today. The real world as they say is the ultimate leveler.. And then you have me Dr Afo, high school brilliant chap tweeting all day for pennies on Elon musk X. How the mighty have fallen indeed. My friends tell me say e go better one day, and I sincerely hope so. Sorry for making you read through this boring crap. You can go away now.
