I’m at the point where I don’t believe any of these studies where people “didn’t eat seed oils”. So, they went to zero restaurants? Ate basically no food from packages? Never had salad dressing or used sauces? The only people NOT eating seed oils are those who are VERY specifically altering their lives in drastic ways, and people with crippling OCD and they only eat boiled cabbage or something. (Rare)

Clavicular issued a stark warning in response to the broader discourse ignited by psychological warfare reports in Iran: “We’re operating in a compromised cognitive environment where most people lack baseline threat models for information exposure,” he said. “There’s no meaningful cognitive security layer, no filtration, no adversarial awareness. What people think of as ‘opinions’ are often just unvetted payloads.” He continued: “Even when individuals attempt to build defenses, they’re brittle. Easily exploited, socially engineered, or overwhelmed at scale. And with AI agents now capable of persistent, adaptive psychological pressure, we’re not just dealing with noise anymore, we’re dealing with coordinated intrusion into human judgment itself.”

@altryne @AnthropicAI if you spend 10-20x because of this bug every single person administrating the instance should be fired

I'm going to take a stab in the dark here for the sequence of events for @AnthropicAI recently (all made up conjecture, I know nothing) > Dec-Feb: @AnthropicAI sees incredible surge in popularity driven mainly by Claude Code > Superbowl ad is a dud > Hegseth suing makes them the "good guy" and drives even more demand > Normies use Claude Code > So do enterprises > Even your grandma > 20% then 30% WoW growth! > Nearing $20B in valuation > Team understands velocity and ship features on top of features. Over 10 features a week sometimes > Almost all are opus/mythos written internally > GPUs sweat from increased demand > A few very subtle caching bugs make it through the automated slop review > Cached tokens are 10x cheaper than non cached > 1M context window compounds the problem > Everyone is essentially DDOSing their systems with uncached responses > *panic in the disco.gif* > Uptime is dropping to to nearly 98% > Mitigation strategies suggested by Claude Mythos: > Let's introduce quota limits for peak times > Let's auto-route to lower reasoning model > Let's focus on shipping "inference improvements" > This causes Opus to be "dumb" some times and smart some other times. Problems compound, enterprises spend 10-20x on their Claude API usage via these bugs, nobody in these enterprises is able to tell, they all thing its directly tied to their engineers productivity. The only folks who see whats going on are anons on reddit reverse engineering caching bugs (using Claude of course) and posting publicly. There must be a way to monitor for these issues, who's building this?

We're hiring: Ghostbuster position open. Join Deel's version of DOGE, our strongest operational team. $200k+/year - remote. Over 7 years, Deel scaled to 7,000+ people across 100+ countries. Every company this size accumulates ghosts: - A process installed by someone who left 2 years ago - A tool slowing everyone down that nobody wants to call out - A decision from 2022 that no one revisited Ghostbusters find broken things and fix them. Own the outcome end to end. You'll partner directly with our COO & myself on the highest-priority operational and strategic initiatives at the company. No busywork. No micromanagement. Just the objective. What it takes: - Builder mentality. You'll get resources, but you'd crush it without them - First-principles thinker. You walk into any department and ask, "Why does this even exist?" - Financially sharp. Business-minded. Operationally elite - AI-native. You help every team rethink how they work, every single week - Self-directed. We give you the mission, not the playbook This is the strongest operational team at Deel. Every person on it is a force. If that's you: jobs.ashbyhq.com/deel/b168b5dd-…

My brain simply can't run more than 3 agents in parallel and QA all of their work. I am sure I am not the only one. How do people manage 10 at once? Or they simply lie?

This one seems to be going places so I'll just say a few things about myself. I'm a German citizen with an American fiancee that's eventually gonna move to Germany. I'm increasingly concerned about the direction the USA is moving into. I'm an atlanticist and I really hope that Europe and the US are gonna be able to normalize their relations again in a post Trump world. We people in Europe know that the next 2.5 years are gonna be difficult but we know that better times are coming.

That's it. That's the best picture from Saturday's No Kings protests in the USA. The literal Statue of Liberty being detained by police. It doesn't get much more poetic than this.

nothing is hard about making software. it's actually so easy it's boring. data structures? algorithms? big o? can all be learned in a day. even a pathetic computer "science" grad can do it.

No one would ever invite his ass to have a beer or watch a game. I don’t know why this part is never brought when discussing these kinds of people. What the fuck would I have to talk about with this nerd?

I don’t particularly like Clavicular but he’s 100% right. watching sportsball and getting drunk with your “friends” is one of the most harmful ways of spending you time “the best choose one thing above all: immortal glory. the many care only to glut themselves like cattle”
