My river system explainer for city folks. All the spring rain fell to the north side of the Great Dividing Range which is why all the dams are at >100% capacity. Water must be released from them or the dam walls will end up collapsing and decimating everything and everyone. 1/3

Just fyi- if you build a house or live in a house on a flood plain. You do realise it will flood, a little or a lot. Some people don’t seem to understand this for some reason. It’s easy data to find & look at before buying.
