@WonPeople @susikaam @seacider I have no idea if that apparent salary involved lots of overtime, shift payments etc. But as an aside, and I am certainly not suggesting that nurses don’t deserve an increase, the NHS is the 5th largest employer in the world - let that sink in. My suspicion is that 1/2

A nurse just rang up LBC, whinging about cost of living, can’t survive on this wage, austerity. When asked how much she earns - £45k. So over £15k above the average. And that’s in a job with a great pension, a guaranteed job anywhere in the country, and one where it’s virtually impossible to be sacked. I think the public are tiring of these self indulgent strikes - 11k extra dead due to strikes last month according to one study.

@ScarlettMQuinn @bexteroonie Not sneering at amateurs at all. And never have. Amateur organisations are the back bone of youth theatres and a gateway to professional theatre. Just dont like being called a 'dick' for no good reason apart from expressing support to fellow actors.
