Back on Twitter after 3 months since my daughter was born did I miss anything?

Obvious miracle: two of our best friends just welcomed their first child! Less obvious miracle: my 8-month old nephew got pneumonia, was diagnosed and given antibiotics, and will be fine. I don't want to miss being grateful for 21st-century miracles.

@CMaguire3 Fair - but my experience is that electric solves so many pain points with biking (time and sweat being two biggest)

More people commuting on electric bikes would be meaningful for traffic, public health, and air quality. Why don’t cities subsidize them?

TIL there’s a nationwide lifeguard shortage. Austin, TX only has 462 of the 750 lifeguards needed, so more than half of pools are closed. New Orleans raised the wage from $12.57 to $18.02. …maybe we should pay these people more?
