Can someone tell people making electron apps that RAM has gotten really expensive?

The worst part of building iOS app is still the signing and provisioning and 9 billion dances you have to do to get notarization to succeed and getting that right outside of Xcode is a pain

@thsottiaux These rate resets are amazing. I’m a blind user and I find it really hard to find them on purpose I once found it on accident so I applied it but would be pretty great if the accessibility for that could be improved. Would be happy to help in any way possible

@OpenAIDevs did y’all change something with how compaction works? All my chats have been completely messing up after a round of compaction sometimes they get it to Round 2 but that’s the most compaction they’re being able to take over the last day or so

@ForrestPKnight It’s been absolutely insane I have crashed out at least seven times in the last five hours cause I keep forgetting that it defaults to 4.8 and then I have to start a new chat with 4.6 but something is also up with 5.5 today

@hCaptcha It was on a stripe connect page. And I think I used seven or eight email addresses out of which 4 were Gmail addresses two different github accounts and one Proton Mail account and one private domain account and none of them worked

I’ve been using Codex to execute plans made by Fable and even fable seems to think 5.5s implementing better security than it thought about so you know as usual, screw Anprofit I mean Anthropic. Curious to see where @OpenAIDevs land on keeping it affordable for us tinkerers.

@ivanfioravanti I think there is a real world where you could compose the core in something like Rust which is cross platform and then mantain different UI layers.

@sfolador @ivanfioravanti Yes, I think it’s now super important for developers to understand the users outside of their code base. That’s what happens when you squash every roll into one.
