Finally grok 4.5 is available in EU, have some fun. Monica's apt test in @threejs overall the feel is there, although it's not particularly good at getting object pos and orientations right. i'd give it 6/10

About a year ago, many people were anti-AI to some extent because they were fearful of their job stability. I wonder if this is still a thing...

@CastAsHuman Well, i have used codex for pretty complex AI related work, evals and everything...worked for me...yes it troubled me once when it consumed 3 weekly resets for a 7 hour task at SOL ultra setting...just once. Otherwise it works great and is economical too.

I keep reading how people one-shot things with Codex, but what's your experience when using Codex for backend work? I've been struggling with something that is pretty complicated, but I still feel it is a skill issue, not an LLM issue.

@CastAsHuman @thsottiaux Lucky guy, never got a response from the Codex team yet hahahaha They do get a lot of queries and feedback tho, can’t blame them.

Every time @thsottiaux comments on my post, yeah it has happened several times now 😆 I get angry by the people who comment on his comment! Things like, "can we have the reset?", or "I have a problem can you fix it?" How do you do it, man?

@pmjohnson That's exactly how I do it as well.

I use Terra and Luna via the API. But until Codex can spawn agents for grunt work at different model levels. I don't think I'll ever use it in the app. Switching models AND reasoning levels is work I don't want to have to think about. I stick it on Extra High Fast. And drop to High if I'm doing smaller, easier changes. But that's only because I want a faster response. Not because I'm worried about burning tokens.

I'm sure Terra and Luna are good models for the API, but man, I'm always on Sol on ChatGPT!
