@BobJoe178 @Bitkey have the same phone and it works everytime I tap near the lenses, top center of the phone. Do you have some kind of cover on your phone?

@Bitkey Why do they struggle to connect with the nfc scanning on iPhone 17 pro max so much? You have to play with it for 5 minutes to get it in the exact right spot for it to scan properly.

@sikorskiradek Why would you even ask that. It's called V2L and it's been around for a decade lol. Anyway, I wouldn't use a new, high-performance battery for home energy storage. Repurposing old car batteries for home use makes way more sense. Nissan already does something like this, I believe.

@altair_tech @dtvelectronics Strip out every block that wasn't found with a fully self-hosted node and that list gets very short, very fast. Most of those are lottery pool blocks, not real solo mining. But it's ok. After all, it's just semantics...

Grateful to @CoinDesk for publishing my response to @udiWertheimer's claim that Lightning is "helplessly broken." Udi is a sharp developer, and the quantum concern is real, but the framing deserves nuance. The threat is narrower than the headline suggests, the hardware doesn't exist yet, and the dev community is far from sitting idle. Actually they can blockade BTC. Take out phone service and internet your BTC is worthless. Who you really have to worry about is the person that can freeze your BTC to stop quantum computers. Person that can freeze it controls it and you don’t know who it is. Probably the CIA but that’s a different argument.

I find it strange that @walletofsatoshi and now @tether both use the version of spark in their wallets that allows anyone to look up anyone else’s transaction history. Why would they do that?
